Bar/ Restaurant recommendations from your TRVLinspirator
Mediterranean and Italian cuisine located on the beach of San Sebastian. Easy to find, impressive terrace, modern interior design and exclusive food. We loved their wine menu and the service was correct. Good place for a long lunch or dinner and if you’re looking for entertainment we recommend to visit one of the party nights with live DJ’s and a great ambiance. Carrer Ramon Trias Fargas 2
El Cangrejo loco
‘The Crazy Crab’ started in 1992 its activity in the Olympic Port in Barcelona, a marina created to host the Olympic sailing. This is a seafood restaurant with more than one terrace, we prefer to sit downstairs but if you prefer to have a beautiful sea view while enjoying your Fruit De Mer plateau, we suggest get a table inside upstairs. Fresh daily specials, fast friendly service and high quality white wines will remember you of the perfect lunch in Barcelona. We always go back. Port Olimpic, Moll de Gregal 29-30.
Quimet y Quimet
This is our most favourite tapas bar ever. With its high walls lined top-to-bottom with a colorful array of bottles, is this the smallest charming tapas bar in El Poble Sec. Step inside, have your beer and tapas at one of the high tables or the bar and experience the typical Spanish way of life, one of the most famous and beautiful bodegas we have seen. Try their very own brand of dark beer and one montadito (a small, open-faced sandwich) of smoked salmon with Greek yogurt and truffled honey. Carrer del Poeta Cabanyes 25.
Sil’s Cakes American Pastry
The hardest part was deciding… On our way from one tapas bar to another tapas bar we passed this amazingly sweet bar. Everything is freshly made in the shop and we never believe you can resist these cookies and cakes. We recommend Nutella cookies, cheesecake and chocolate brownie but we are going back soon to try more.
The Pepito revolution has arrived to Barcelona, a new trendy restaurant that is known for their popular sandwiches as the house’s specialty. The menu also includes salads, classic tapas, grilled meat, and tartars… This charming space delights with a beautiful interior design. The service is overwhelming and they will explain every dish on the menu with honest recommendations. Romantic memories for your TRVLinspirator in the amazing Eixample area. Passatge de Domino 3.
Dry Martini Bar
If you’re wondering what to order, the clue is in the name. They really know how to shake the best cocktails. Opened in 1978 under the auspices of maestro Pedro Carbonell and part of the Javier de las Muelas empire, Dry Martini is something of an institution, with dapper discreet staff, dark wood stylish interior and a bounty of bottles. This place is classy and chic and for TRVLinspirator the perfect bar with an unforgettable ambiance. Located in BCN’s Eixample district, Calle Aribau 162-166.
Les Gens Que J’aime bar
This jazz bar is a hidden gem, perfect for cocktails, good music, romantic vibes and it offers a very unique decor. We simply couldn’t leave, this is a typical place with class and acceptable prices. CHEERS!

Hotel Next to
Charming Boutique Hotel in the Eixample district of Barcelona, next to Passeig de Gràcia, with exclusive views of the building La Pedrera and near the most emblematic places of the city. We loved the area of this hotel; you are in the middle of the action, exclusive shops, many cozy places for breakfast, good restaurants and opposite from the hotel Omm. Friendly service and very helpful if you need some city advise. The prices for the rooms are normal and reasonable. We are definitely going back!
